Lord, I Need Your Help

Oct 12, 2025    Pastor Arthur J. James

In this week's message, we're reminded that our help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. Drawing from Psalm 121, we explore three ways God sends help to His children: directly, through others, and by allowing us to help ourselves. This sermon challenges us to look beyond our circumstances and fix our gaze on God, our ultimate source of assistance. We're encouraged to recognize that even in our trials, God is working - sometimes visibly, sometimes behind the scenes. The message emphasizes the importance of humility in accepting help, both from God and from others He places in our lives. It's a call to action for us to not only receive help but to be conduits of God's help to those around us. This teaching invites us to reflect on how we might be standing in our own way, preventing God's help from reaching us fully. It's a reminder that in our weakest moments, God's strength is made perfect, and His help is always available if we're willing to receive it.
